A local film evening to mark the 50th anniversary of the Domestic Film Week in Celje (1973). Jože Volfand and Branko Stamejčič (former chairmen of the TDF organizing committee) and Samo Seničar (program director of Kino Union) will participate. 

The conversation will be moderated by journalist Ivana Stamejčič.

Five decades ago, Novi tednik and Radio Celje brought the most important filmmakers from Slovenia and Yugoslavia to Celje with the Domestic Film Week. This is a cultural event that brought thousands of visitors to Celje cinemas. It was also an initiative to start regulating the situation in Slovenian cinema and to create a friendlier attitude of the audience towards domestic film. No cultural event in Celje, before or since, has achieved such a response from the audience.
