About the lecturer:

Janko Rode is a doctor of biological sciences. Herbs as a broad group of useful plants fascinated him already during his studies. He also upgraded his knowledge later as the head of medicinal and aromatic plants at the Institute of Hop Growing and Brewing of Slovenia in Žalec. Today he is employed at the Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry of Slovenia. He also participates in various projects related to herbs, lectures, leads workshops and is a senior lecturer at the College of Rural Management Grm Novo mesto. The love of lecturing and teaching is in his blood, as his parents were already professors. He also passed on his passion for herbs to his daughter and wife.
