Triglav is Ours is a new book by mountain history researcher Dušan Škodič, who, based on unexpectedly discovered archives, sheds new light on the beginnings of organized mountaineering and alpinism in Slovenia. This is a period in which Slovenian mountains were marked first by individuals, and from the second half of the 19th century onwards, especially by the German and Austrian mountaineering associations, which left deep traces in our area, also in connection with the Slovenian Mountaineering Association (SPD).
