A Carinthian folk tale tells of a brown bear who got a sharp thorn stuck in his front paw. He wandered along the edge of the forest and came across a house in front of which a mother and child were sewing and singing... The main message of the tale is that you should help when someone is in trouble, and all good will be returned to you.
