Literary evening
1. 7. 2015 at 8:30 PM
The first July dinner at the lapidarium is reserved for the last theater performance from the Vajevec Brothers' Acting Studio cycle entitled Literary evening (Reckoning).
Adapted from a monologue from the play by American writer Lanford Wilson (1991), “The Moonshot Tape” (translated by Literary Evening) is the story of a successful writer, Diana, who returns to her hometown, where she confronts her traumatic past.
A narrative unfolds before the public, similar to the stories of girls who found themselves in the clutches of abuse but were not condemned by the local environment. But despite everything, and perhaps precisely because of this, Diana becomes aware of her situation and is not content with the role of victim.
Played by: Irena Zagajšek
Acting coach: Janez Vajevec
