In its fifth incarnation, the Izrekanja festival remains faithful to its basic mission – to bring top-notch poetry to the stage in the lapidarium and, within its embrace, to intertwine promising and top-notch, domestic and foreign authors and performers.

The closing evening will be opened by another local woman and indispensable member of the festival team. Lara Gobec (2002) with the poetic monodrama “With Love, Lola”. Lara Gobec, who is currently studying at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana, wrote poetry in elementary school and was shortlisted three times for the all-Slovenian elementary school literary competition Roševi dnevi, and then in 2018 she was one of the finalists for Župančičeva frulica, which she finally won in 2020. She was also included in the Klub Najst SNG Drama Ljubljana project, was listed among the finalists of the Mala Veronika 2020 competition and published in the magazine Novi zvon and on the online medium LUD Literatura. She has also published her poems in the anthology of young Celje poetry In zemlja je vibirala kot živo telo. She is also a columnist on the LUD Literatura portal.

Brynne Rebele-Henry (USA, 1999) won the AWP Donald Hall Poetry Prize for her poetry collection Autobiography of a Wound, and was named one of the best poetry books of fall 2018 by Library Journal. It was also a finalist for the Publishing Triangle Audre Lorde Award. Her debut novel, Orpheus Girl, won the 2021 Young Adult Author Award from the Richmond Public Library, Virginia. It was also included on Barnes & Noble and Chicago Review of Books' lists of most anticipated books by young authors.
In the academic year 2021/2022, she is a Fulbright scholar at the Institute for Anthropological and Spatial Studies within the ZRC SAZU. Her latest poetry collection, Prelude, was published in March 2022 by the University of Pittsburgh Press.

Tomaz Hostnik (1992) is the author of more than ninety compositions in the Slovenian language, which includes the entire opuses of the bands Vudlenderji, Drajnarjuva vampa, and Hostnik pa Krečič, music for children, film, theater, etc. For his work, he received the Golden Canto at the 14th International Songwriting Festival (Kantfest), received the most votes via telephone voting at the 39th Melodies of the Sea and Sun with the composition "Irena", and earned the award for best lyrics at Popevka 2019 and 2021. As a pianist, poet, and chansonnier, he regularly performs both at home and abroad.
