April 2: International Children's Book Day: “I am a book. You are a book. We are all books.”

On International Children's Book Day, each year one of the member countries of the International Board on Young People's Literature prepares a message and a poster. This year, the honor went to the Greek section, and the message was written by Vagelis Iliopulos and illustrated by Photini Stephanidi. The International Board on Young People's Literature (IBBY) celebrates April 2, the birthday of the Danish storyteller Hans Christian Andersen, declared International Children's Book Day at an international congress in Ljubljana in 1966.
