You are invited to the presentation of the book "Then the Teeth of Fire Murmured: A Tale of a Forgotten Painter" by author Mila Kočevar, which will be held in LIBRARIES SOLDIER.

Discover the poignant story of wartime artist Dorothea Hauser (1877–1946), whose life and almost all of her work was destroyed by fire. The book weaves together memories, local cultural heritage, and the European art world of the time that would otherwise have remained forgotten.

Before the book presentation, you are also cordially invited to the opening of the last part of the black and white paintings by artist Doroteja Hauser, which will be held in the Open-Air Gallery in front of the Vojnik Municipality.

Today, the Vojnik Library is adorned with her silhouette – a girl with a book.
