On Friday, September 4, 2020, it was six months since the first case of infection with the new coronavirus was confirmed in Slovenia. A virus that has marked the world like no other event in recent times. The uncoordinated provision of information about the characteristics of the virus, the method of spread and effective protection helps to strengthen doubts and undermines public trust in the profession and the administration.

Renowned expert Prof. Dr. Ivan Eržen, epidemiology specialist and former director of the National Institute of Public Health, will present the latest scientific findings on the SARS-CoV-2 virus, its effects on the health of those infected, how close we are to a vaccine (or medicine) and what we can expect in the future. After the lecture, Prof. Dr. Eržen will also answer questions from guests. The lecture will be held via video conference at the following link: https://zoom.us/j/6518275931
