You are invited to the opening of the exhibition entitled Cleantech - Can technology save the world?

It is an exhibition about the coexistence of technology and environmental conservation in collaboration with the Swiss Embassy.

Switzerland and Slovenia are known for their beautiful landscapes, marked by mountains, crystal lakes, rivers and lush green meadows. Behind this natural beauty, however, lie significant efforts by both countries to develop clean technologies that address key environmental challenges such as climate change, respect for natural resources, promotion of renewable energy sources and preservation of biodiversity. With the aim of promoting innovative solutions in the field of environmental technologies, the exhibition “Can Technology Save the World?” was created and organized by the Embassy of Switzerland in Slovenia, Lek, a member of the Sandoz group, and the “Jožef Stefan” Institute. The exhibition presents innovations from Swiss and Slovenian entities that offer best practices in the areas of clean water, recycling, biodiversity, access to energy resources, green mobility and the circular economy.

The exhibition is on view until February 17th in the library lobby.
