The book Snaha is the debut of Majda Petan, a sociologist from Celje, who has dedicated her life to working with young people and adults, and a large part of herself to music. She dedicates the book to her mother and siblings.
Mom as a symbol of a warm home, where there was always a sincere and loving word at home, where there was enough space for love and happiness, but also enough space for numerous painful trials, which they were always able to overcome with their combined strength. She describes mom as a symbol of courage, sacrifice, and unconditional love for children and other people.
The book The Bride-in-Law is a narrative and an exposure of the writer's own emotions, an inspiration for courage, for resolving life situations, and an opportunity for readers to take a proactive approach to identifying and resolving unhealthy relationships.
The conversation with the author of the book will be led by the versatile Marijana Kolenko, and Petanova will also take us into the world of music at the event.
The event will be held in the study reading room.
You are warmly welcome!
