Look at them, stars!
January 29, 2015 at 5:30 p.m.
We will look at the stars together with Prof. Ludvik Jevšenak. The retired professor and translator has been involved in astronomy for more than half a century. He has translated numerous books in the field of astronomy, among which we must especially mention the wonderful book by Hubert Reeves, The Universe, as I Explain It to My Grandchildren. Every year he also translates the book Look at the Stars! by Guillaume Cannata from French.
The book is an annual manual for observing the sky and is intended for all beginners who know absolutely nothing (and would like to...), those who already know something (and would like to know more...) and those who think they know everything (and maybe not everything...). With numerous interesting illustrations and photomontages, the ephemeris describes and explains the events in our sky in a popular way. So that we do not miss the most beautiful scenes in the sky in 2015, Mr. Jevšenak will especially draw our attention to them, who will present interesting celestial phenomena in 2015 and the book Look at them, stars!
You are cordially invited, even though it is not Monday!
