On Monday, March 19, village at 5:30 p.m. We invite you to the Levstik Hall for a lecture entitled PLASTIC MATERIALS – USEFUL, BUT ENVIRONMENTALLY UNFRIENDLY. Mrs. Marinka ŽBOGAR, emeritus professor of chemistry, will remind us, as she has done several times before, that the Earth is our home, so we must be aware of its vulnerability and uniqueness and act responsibly every day towards sustainable development. Plastics, which were the material of the future in the last century, today represent a major environmental problem; they have penetrated all levels of our everyday lives. But not without consequences. The dumping and accumulation of waste from plastics is increasing, which greatly burdens the environment, which is the living space of humans. All too often, they end up on the ground and ultimately in the sea, where they are dangerous to living beings due to their non-degradability. You are invited to think and attend an interesting lecture!
