Members of the University for the Third Age are invited to the opening of the exhibition Miha Maleš – illustrations of Mach's poem Maj. The artist will be introduced by curator Breda Ilich Klančnik. Mach's verses will be read by Vladimira Butolen in the original and Maruša Grešak in translation. The vocal-instrumental group Kitarakon will perform. After the opening of the exhibition, we will move to the Levstik Hall, where we will also listen to a lecture about the artist.

Miha Maleš (1903–1987), a painter and graphic artist, also devoted much of his time to book illustration, which is distinguished by elegant and light lines on the one hand and dramatic black and white contrasts on the other. Mach's May brought out both in the painterly poet.

The exhibition will be on view until February 29, 2016.
