Lecturer Dr. Lučka Kajfež Bogataj is a researcher in the field of climatology and meteorology. She raises awareness of civil society about global and local environmental issues in numerous publications. As one of the most active women dealing with climate change, she will speak about the severe pressures of human activities that our planet has found itself under, and how we can solve environmental problems, biodiversity, etc. in a sustainable way.

In Slovenia, she is considered one of the pioneers of climate change research. She has published around 130 scientific and more than 750 professional and popular articles.
