Do you keep photos of your school days, photos taken at your workplace, related to work at home or farm chores in old albums at home? Are albums a real treasure trove of photographic memories of your personal celebrations, trips around your homeland and beyond... And if you were involved in sports, were interested in them, then perhaps photos of sports teams, their competitions and performances... ; perhaps photographs that recorded the dark period of the 20th century, the time of the 1st and 2nd World Wars...

Would you like others to view them online?
To ensure that these memories do not remain just personal, that they do not get lost or even destroyed, the Celje Central Library invites you to entrust them to a common treasury of memories as part of the European Cultural Heritage Days 2016, entitled Heritage Around Us.

We will collect photos with your memories on Friday, September 30, 2016, from 10 am to 3 pm in the Levstik Hall of the Celje Central Library, where we will digitize them, list them, and then return them to you. Digital copies will be published in the Album of Slovenia on the Kamra portal. Selected photos will also be published in the Album from Celje section of the Novi tednik newspaper, the media sponsor of the campaign.
