Orwell subtitled Animal Farm as a fairy tale and thereby placed it in the field of universal reading and existence. The struggle between good and evil? Animals as a synonym for humans? An indefinable time that can also be inhabited by today's? The cycle of life? Are dreams even possible and are doubts justified?
