The Dobrna Library is located in the new extension of the Dobrna Elementary School at Dobrna 1. All citizens can enroll, as the unit is combined and intended for children, adolescents and adults. With the card you receive at the Dobrna Library, you can borrow materials in all units of the Celje Central Library.

Children, adolescents and adults can choose from books of various genres (drama, poetry, social, historical, crime, biographical, science fiction and other novels, board books, picture books for children, etc.) and professional literature (philosophy, psychology, medicine, history, art, linguistics, etc.). The children's section also has a play area.

In addition to books, which offer a wealth of information, entertainment and relaxation, you can also borrow non-book materials to take home: films and cartoons on DVDs, music and fairy tales on CDs, and language courses.

In the library you can read local newspapers and magazines, which you can also borrow to take home.

Events and activities we prepare for you

• Fairytale hour for kindergartens – the library is visited by groups of children from a nearby kindergarten, to whom we introduce the library with the help of a fairy tale and together with them we take our first steps into the secret world of the library.
• Fairytale adventures are on the program every first Tuesday of the month at 5 p.m.
• Library tours – we conduct guided tours of the library for groups of primary school students.
