Class is an unusual, fresh young adult novel. It is narrated by a teenager who should be running wild with hormones, but instead reads, indulges in stories, and even writes novels about her peers.
It begins with September 1, a day that many schoolchildren do not want, as it announces the end of the holidays and the start of a new school year. For four classmates and their friends, "the monotony of questioning, tests, dusty textbooks and learning material that, no matter how you look at it, makes no sense." The cool Grega, the Barbie Sara, the deviant Špela and this new Nonto could not be more different.
