A youth fantasy set in the time and space of the migration of nations at the end of the 6th century. The author places the five children of the commander of the Slavic army at the center of the story, who, while their father is expanding the Slavic territory westward, are at the mercy of the intentions of his opponents, who see the children as a means of blackmail. But Ognjen's children are far from an easy opponent: the cunning healer Ajda, the beautiful Mila, who is followed by all the animals, and the triplets - masters of the sling, bow and sword, think they will stay alive for a long time. In this tense novel, the author captures the turbulent events of this historical period and intertwines it with his imagination. Important historical figures and events enter the story throughout. What fate, for example, befell the Byzantine emperor Maurice, who also appears in the fourth part? Does his life story, which follows historical facts, end in the fourth part?
