Marta is about seventeen years old. At least she was when she crossed over to the other side, to the side of empty, painless, irreversible eternity. The mirror in front of which she remembers the last months of her life does not reflect her image, but only memories and feelings. For example, the relief of not having to listen to her mother's cries or her father's silent despair. The feeling of freedom of no longer having to pretend to be, or, worse, actually eat to please her family...
In a dramatic dialogue that reads like a narrative, Marta speaks to herself with the openness and directness of her condition. At the same time, she ironically smooths the edges of the memories that led her to long for the girl she once was. (taken from the general page of emka.si)
