After her father leaves, Zoe and her mother move to live with her mother's parents in the north of Germany. Her mother is looking forward to meeting her school friends. But that's exactly what Zoe misses. She misses her best friend Emily and her gymnastics group. She can't find her feet in the new environment. Everything changes when her PE teacher introduces her to the school circus club. Zoe soon becomes enthusiastic about the acrobatics and the girls are friendly too, especially Fatou. Coach Timo is also happy about the new member and Zoe finally feels part of the group again. Everything seems great until Zoe starts to have doubts. Is there a misunderstanding? Are Timo's touches random or is he intrusive? Zoe is unsure and doesn't know how to react.
The line between abuse and coincidence is often blurred and it is difficult for a teenager to recognize the signs. In contrast, perpetrators deliberately put their victims in situations in which they feel weak and vulnerable. Zoe was lucky. When she resisted, she found understanding and support - without judgment. (taken from spl. str. knjigarna.net)
