About the book

On the occasion of the seventieth anniversary of the birth of one of the most important and most popular Slovenian writers for children and young people, Slavko Pregl (1945), we have prepared a book of his short stories. The anthology includes books Soup of the Whisperer, The Star with the Cap, The Little Big Fisherman, Varya Talks, Curious Fairy Tales, Little Cloudy Stories, The Caught Fisherman, The Swinging Handbook, Battle Notes of a City Kid. The book is enriched with illustrations by Kostja Gatnik, Marjan Manček, Arjan Pregl and Damijan Stepančič. It will appeal to children, adolescents and adult readers alike.
