This is a booklet with educational programs and activities of the University for the 3rd Life Period Celje for the academic year 2025/2026. In it, you will find opportunities for learning, creating, researching, and socializing.
In order to bring the University for the Third Age of Celje (U3O) closer to the widest possible circle of senior citizens of our princely city and its surroundings, we have also prepared a diverse and rich offer of more than 40 educational programs this year - both free and affordable.
You can also spend your free time culturally by attending theater, ballet and opera performances, and we will also take you on interesting excursions. You will be able to listen to health lectures by Celje experts in the field of health and receive a lot of useful information. You can also expect discounts when purchasing subscriptions to the Celje Culture House and the Celje Youth and Leisure Centre, as well as special benefits from local providers. We will also connect and cooperate with the Celje Retirement Singing Association, and you are cordially invited to actively participate in the association.
We will also maintain the tradition of local history Monday evenings, which were started by the late honorary member of the university, Božena Orožen. This year too, the evenings will be enriched with interesting guests and their stories.
We will also organize social gatherings and short and educational workshops in the field of information technology.
In the booklet you will find the goals of U3O, which we will try to achieve with joint efforts and commitment, as well as the U3O code of conduct, which you accept and respect by signing the registration form.
