All Samia wants is to run. To run for herself, to run for war-torn Somalia, to run for the women of her country, to run in the Olympics. Despite difficult conditions and deprivation, she manages to qualify for the Olympics as the youngest and lightest runner and attract the attention of the world public. The prospect of a glorious future, despite the pain of the situation in her homeland and the loss of her loved ones, is close at hand. But fate has other plans.
