On September 18, 2020, we adapted the Celje Library website so that it is accessible to all visitors using various customization settings. We adapted the portal in accordance with The Website and Mobile Application Accessibility Act (ZDSMA).
Accessibility level
The website is adapted for all devices (computers, tablets and mobile phones). The adaptation was carried out using the medium level AA (double A) WCAG 2.0 guidelines.
Additional website features
- choosing a contrasting color scheme,
- choosing a different font and size,
- font selection for users with dyslexia,
- larger mouse cursor size,
- jump to the main content, which is the first link accessible via tab on all pages,
- navigate the menu with the arrow keys or tab and jump from a submenu item to a parent item with the ESC key
- display the current tab location,
- automatic tab jump to pop-up window,
- exit the pop-up window with the ESC key,
- naming page regions with the role (region) and aria-label options
Compliance level
Website www.knjiznica-celje.si is partially compliant with the Website and Mobile Application Accessibility Act due to the exceptions listed below.
We monitor the accessibility of the website and continuously improve individual accessibility elements. However, some published content does not meet all accessibility requirements. Examples of such content are:
- scanned documents in PDF format (e.g. annual reports, annual plans, older documents, etc.),
- complex data tables,
- opening a new tab or window without warning the user,
- elements without adequate color contrast,
- older elements do not have an optimal alternative description written
- The video content does not have subtitles or text transcripts.
We make it possible for you to access these documents in another way (you can write to us by post or email, the contact details are listed below). We are constantly improving the accessibility of our website to ensure better accessibility. We have accepted Assessment of disproportionate burden .
