Would you like to read, but are unable to come to the library due to age or illness? Librarians are happy to bring your favorite books to your home.

This is a special free service of the Central Library of Celje, intended for those users who want to read, but whose age or illness prevent them from visiting the library independently. With this program, we provide users with access to book and non-book materials by bringing them home.

If you would like to use our services, please call or write to us and we will arrange a date and time for your visit. On the agreed day, a library employee will call you and discuss your wishes and needs (type and genre of literature, quantity of copies, and time of visit).

The service can be:

• permanent
• temporary (e.g. during seasonally deteriorated weather conditions)

We can deliver library materials:

• to individual persons,
• societies,
• clubs,
• organizations where people meet, gather and socialize.

The service is intended for our members and is free of charge. If you are not yet a library member, you will arrange this when we contact you. The books will be delivered to your home once a month, and you will return them during our next visit.
