In order to enable better accessibility and at the same time protect old and rare materials, the library is implementing projects to digitize the most interesting parts of the collection. The digitized materials (books, newspapers, maps and other materials) are published mainly on the Digital Library of Slovenia.

Individual digitized local history content is also published on the portal Sistory.si. 

We present stories from everyday life on the local history portal Chamber, which offers access to information, documents, images and other materials digitized by public libraries, museums, archives, other local institutions and individuals.
