REGULAR REGISTRATION, WHICH TOOK PLACE BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 1 AND 26, 2025, HAS BEEN ENDED. SUBSEQUENT REGISTRATION IS POSSIBLE BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT. 

Enrollment conditions and application form for the academic year 2025/2026.

The membership fee for active members of the Central Library of Celje is 10.00 EUR, for non-members 15.00 EUR. You can become a library member at the same time as enrolling at the university and take advantage of the discount. You pay the membership fee at the library upon enrollment. Married couples living together pay the membership fee for only one member. The program will be implemented if at least eight (8) students apply for it, and in the case of a smaller number of applicants, by agreement. Participation in most educational programs (hereinafter referred to as IP) requires payment of a mentoring hour. The amount of the contribution depends on the size of the group. The estimated price for ten (10) students is written in the booklet. The final amount will be determined after enrollment is completed or individual groups are formed. The estimated start of each IP is stated in the booklet. You will be notified of the start of each IP by e-mail or text message. Payment of the membership fee for the current academic year guarantees the right to attend educational programs within the university, receive information about other activities, participate in excursions, watch operas, ballets and theater performances, and receive more favorable ticket prices for various performances and concerts. 

Workflow

When registering, you indicate on the registration form the IPs you wish to enroll in during the academic year. 

By signing the registration form, you confirm:

  • that you are aware that registration and payment for an individual IP are binding;
  • that you participate in the activity at your own request, will and responsibility;
  • that you will settle your financial obligations on time;
  • that you are familiar with the U3O Code of Conduct and that you will strive to comply with it, and
  • that you are fully familiar with the enrollment conditions.

For an IP to be implemented, at least 8 students must be enrolled. In the case of a smaller number of students; each member signs a statement agreeing to the higher costs of a smaller group. The final price of an individual IP also depends on the number of students. Cancellations of IPs are possible only in writing by e-mail. u3o@knjiznica-celje.si or by regular mail to the library address (Muzejski trg 1a, 3000 Celje) with the note University for the 3rd Life Period. In the event of cancellation, the student shall pay the proportional amount of the IP value that has accrued up to the date of cancellation. Cancellation with payment of the proportional amount is possible exclusively for health reasons. If the student does not give written cancellation, must pay the full amount of the IP. 

It is desirable that study groups periodically present their activities and the results of their work to the public.

Most programs consist of 20-40 hours per year or by agreement.. Groups meet once a week for two school hours, unless work dictates otherwise.

Every Monday of the month, we organize a variety of lectures as part of the IP Local Studies and Cultural History, and occasionally we also diversify the university's activities with excursions, tours of exhibitions at home and abroad, visits to musical performances, operas, ballets, and various workshops.
