Fairytale hours for parents
Among the more important activities to promote reading is the Fairy Tale Hour for Parents, which is jointly designed by the preschool teacher and the librarian. During a family visit to the library, parents gain all the basic information about the library and its offerings, as well as the knowledge that the library is a friendly, accessible place where all visitors can satisfy their needs for relevant information and different types of reading. 

Fairytale hours for parents are a truly friendly and eventful event, with a fairy tale experience, and the presentation of the library and all its activities is an incentive for a reunion. Children and parents leave the library convinced that they have come to the right place, and with all the information, parents also gain the knowledge that they can develop and grow personally in the library together with their child, with everything the library has to offer. Fairytale hours for parents are an important contribution to improving family literacy.  

Lectures
They complement the range of materials on the Parents' Shelf. In addition to theoretical knowledge, they also provide parents with completely practical life experiences in areas that are relevant to them, such as education, interpersonal relationships, and reading culture.
