Assessment of disproportionate burden for the website of the Central Library of Celje
We are updating and supplementing the website of the Central Library of Celje with the aim of enabling all website users to have maximum accessibility to published documents and content.
The Celje Central Library estimates that there would be financial consequences for the institution if they wanted to remove the entire content of the website. www.knjiznica-celje.si be appropriately adapted (translated into sign language and/or equipped with subtitles or otherwise appropriately adapted in accordance with the Website and Mobile Applications Accessibility Act), as the volume of content is large. In addition to the significant financial consequences, the Celje Central Library also took into account the internal organization and type of activity it performs when assessing the disproportionate burden, and acts in accordance with the Website and Mobile Applications Accessibility Act, which for these reasons allows the above deviations in accordance with the assessment of disproportionality and on the basis of the Accessibility Statement.
The website is not fully adapted for vulnerable groups. The reason is the disproportionate burden that the Celje Central Library estimates with the human and financial burden that optimization would require.
The following content is not available:
- scanned documents in PDF format (e.g. annual reports, annual plans, older documents, etc.),
- complex data tables,
- opening a new tab or window without warning the user,
- elements without adequate color contrast,
- older elements do not have an optimal alternative description written
- The video content does not have subtitles or text transcripts.
