Unity in diversity

As part of World Mental Health Day, we invite you to join us for a lecture and book presentation titled Unity in Diversity – Experiences of Living with a Person with a Mental Disorder by Silva Belak. The author is a long-time volunteer at Šentlent, where she leads a discussion group with users. In the book, she describes her experiences living with her son Matjaž, who has been facing difficulties and problems caused by a mental disorder for more than 30 years.
The book is one of the rare confessions of a woman who describes her experience of this coexistence in an extremely honest and direct way, which can greatly contribute to reducing the stigma that is unfortunately still present in our society.
The presentation will be held in the Levstik Hall. You are cordially invited!
