Dušica Kunaver

On Monday, November 10th, at 5:30 PM, we will meet with Ms. Dušica Kunaver and Slovenian folk customs, songs and tales.
As an English teacher, she realized during her teaching career how little our youth knew about local values and how enthusiastically they listened to stories from the past. For this reason, she began to systematically collect material from Slovenian folk literature, and later published numerous books in this field. Her acquaintances gave her the nickname "romantic ethnologist", as she passes on her knowledge to all generations with extraordinary enthusiasm. When listening to stories about Slovenian customs from January to December, our thoughts will fly back to our younger days, while at the same time reminding us that we must pass on these old treasures to today's young generation.
