On the eve of Slovenian Public Library Day, we invite you to a conversation with poet, writer and publicist Esad Babačić.

Esad Babačić is one of the rare Slovenians who, in the prevailing monocultural situation, did not camouflage his origins by changing the soft ć to a hard č, but rather has persistently highlighted his bicultural nature in interviews and documentaries for the last twenty-five years. Founder and frontman of the cult punk band Via ofenziva, student of Slavic studies, journalist, episodic film actor, columnist, author of documentaries, enthusiast who revived dilapidated basketball courts around Ljubljana, and above all, a poet and writer.
