A Body Made of Letters. A Novel about Alma

Short novel Body made of letters, with subtitle novel about Alma, is the first prose text in Slovenia that deals with the famous Celje woman Alma M. Karlin. Its author, Milan Dekleva, is a modern Slovenian poetry classic, winner of the Prešeren Prize and many other awards, and also the author of the novel about Slavko Grum – Triumph of the Rats, for which he won the Kresnik Award ten years ago.

We invite you to a conversation with Milan Dekleva and a presentation of the novel about Alma in Thursday, May 5, at 6 p.m. in the Levstik Hall of the Celje Central Library. Marijan Pušavec will talk to the guest.
