On Monday, November 5, at 5:30 PM in the Levstik Hall, we will listen to the successful young researcher Urh FERLEŽ. He will present one of his four award-winning research papers, which have also been published in book form. The talk will be about the HISTORY OF CINEMA IN CELJE. We will walk from the first performance, which was in Celje in 1896, to the Union Cinema, Dom Cinema and Metropola (Metropol City Cinema).

We will also dedicate a few words to the Festival of Domestic Film, which had an extraordinary significance for the development of film art in the territory of the former wider homeland. With our morning U3O film subscription, Silver Screen, we also want to preserve or revive some of this former glory.
