For 'this happy day of culture' we invited a creative and cultural worker Hedvigo VIDMAR SALAMON and art teacher and graphic artist Arpad SALAMON. They will show us how bookplates and small prints are created. An ex-libris in the narrow sense is a designed book mark that the owners stick into a book. The motif in the picture is usually related to the life, characteristic or hobby of the owner and is often a work of art in miniature, which establishes an intimate connection between art, its owner and the book as a special value. The event is related to the exhibition Ex-libris Poloniae, which is on display in the library lobby.
