On December 3, when we remember the birth of the greatest Slovenian poet, Dr. France Prešeren, we celebrate This Joyful Day of Culture. The day was first celebrated in 2000 at the initiative of the Ministry of Culture on the 200th anniversary of the poet's birth.
Every year on this day, the Celje Central Library concludes the reading project "Reading to the Stars" - this year, the tenth in a row. There will be no public event this time due to the measures.

However, we will still award recognition and prizes to participating loyal readers.
