The Vojnik Library invites you to the opening of the exhibition "Wolves Are Coming to the City", by Ljubomir Juhant Makarič, who works under the artistic name HansArtist.

Ljubomir Juhant Makarič was born on April 16, 1981 in Celje. He spent his childhood in Žalec, and later moved with his family to Vojnik, where he still works in his studio today.

Already as a child, he showed a distinct talent for drawing – his “toys” were charcoal, brush and pencil. Over the years, he expanded his artistic exploration into many fields: drawing, sculpture, painting, music, industrial and fashion design, tattoo and airbrush art.

Although he was not attracted to the school system, this is what sets him apart as a self-taught and individualist with a broad artistic spectrum. In his work, he prefers to devote himself to fantasy-socially critical themes that carry a message and provoke reflection. He draws inspiration primarily from nature, which he sees as the greatest artist and teacher.

At the exhibition, HansArtist will present six original works in acrylic on canvas. Each painting tells its own story and combines fantasy, symbolism, and social messaging.

In addition to the painting exhibition, the artist will also present a video clip (4 minutes) of his music project Chrome & Ink, which thematically connects with his visual art and reveals his personal and artistic world through music and lyrics.
