You are cordially invited to the last lecture by mag. Rozmanova. We will talk about Lars von Trier's Melancholia in the light of Martin Heidegger's philosophy.
The film Melancholy, with its story, is surprisingly close to Heidegger's philosophy and is a tale of the end of the world in two parts. The story follows the fate of two sisters, Justine and Claire, who, in addition to an ontological bond, are also connected by the fateful realization of the imminent end.
– Melancholia with selected excerpts supported by Heidegger's philosophy, the most "philosophical" film, with a script that faithfully follows Heidegger's key philosophical insights.
