The Reading Club at the Celje Central Library is a place where you will find new literary friends, immerse yourself in the world of books that await you, and experience a deeper connection with literature. Each meeting is a new opportunity to discover the worlds that books offer and to learn about new perspectives. The Reading Club is led by librarian Filip Zule.

The meeting will feature writer Manka Kremenšek Križman. The discussion will be based on her novel Foreigners (Cankarjeva založba, 2022), which, through a female perspective, profoundly explores the themes of social hardship, immigration, and the fragility of human relationships. The meeting will provide participants with an in-depth insight into the author's writing process, her literary choices, and the importance of women's voices in shaping understanding of contemporary social challenges.
