We invite you to the Celje Theatre School production, which will be premiered September 12th at 7:30 PM on the Small Stage of the Slovenian Folk Theatre in Celje.
There will be a repeat the next day, September 13th, also at 7:30 PM on the Small Stage.

On September 14th, members of the theater school with their mentors in cooperation with Celje-Center Gymnasium are traveling to Zrenjanin, where they will attend Bina mira international theater festival.
On September 15, they will perform on the stage of the National Theater "Toša Jovanović" in Zrenjanin and participate in workshops with international mentors throughout the week. One of the workshops will also be led by Tina Kosi and Kristian Koželj, M.A.

The Theatre School for Young People is a joint project of the Celje Central Library and the Slovenian Folk Theatre Celje, with the cooperation of JSKD Celje. Mentors are Tina Kosi, MSc and Kristian Koželj.
The purpose of the school is to provide high-quality and comprehensive theater training for young people, a connection between the theoretical and practical work of theater creation, and high-quality youth theater production.
We began with lectures on the theory and history of theater and drama, and continued with seminars on speech training, stage movement, and the basics of commedia dell'arte.

For the past few months, we have been preparing the final production based on the motifs of Grum's Event in the town of Gogi.
In the final production, the students learned the basics of theater acting, mise-en-scene, and speech. They learned how to create different dramatic characters and guide the development of individual dramatic characters throughout the entire performance.
Over the years, they have gained a lot and developed and upgraded their talent.

Bina mira (Oder miru) is an international project led by internationally renowned Belgian youth worker Elfriede Belleflamme. This time the theme of the youth meeting is escape and its reflection in the world of theatre and the thinking of young people. 11 youth theatre groups from Belgium, Germany, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Slovenia are participating in the project. As part of the mobility, which will take place between 14 and 21 September 2016, young people will create in five different workshops, where they will learn about theatre, movement, the body, the creative process, think about migration and mobility, intercultural dialogue, while creating new contacts, getting to know the tourist attractions of Vojvodina and performing performances in the Zrenjanin theatre and CEKOM centre.
