Vaccination is a simple, safe, and most effective measure for protection against certain infectious diseases. It not only protects vaccinated individuals, but also others by reducing the spread of the disease. In recent decades, more deaths have been prevented by vaccination than by any other health measure.
It is important to make a fact-based decision about vaccination. On the website of the National Institute of Public Health, you will find reliable information and scientifically supported advice on vaccination, prepared based on the work of our and foreign public health experts. The vaccination program in Slovenia provides vaccination against numerous infectious diseases to all children and adolescents, as well as adults and the elderly with various health indications for vaccination.
We will be joined by Tanja Selič Kurinčič, MD, a specialist in infectious diseases.
In collaboration with the DVE association.
