Two mothers and two daughters – together for the first time. With backpacks at least twice as big and heavier than anything they had ever carried on their backs. At the start of the 270-kilometer Irun – Santander route, the first third of the Camino del Nord. Without the slightest idea where they would sleep, what they would eat, how they would endure the effort, each other and their own vanity. But with a great deal of childlike curiosity and a clear intention – to succeed.

On this path, a person grows and matures, regardless of age. The two mothers have written about their journey in a joint booklet, AND WE WENT, which will be available for purchase after the lecture in the Levstikov Hall.
