On the second day of the festival, its main guest and first name will take the stage: Chicago poet, pioneer of slam poetry, the one and only Marc Kelly Smith – Slam Papi.

He will be joined by local poetry matadors, gathered in the Sljemerčine collective, whose core consists of Tilen Letner, Aljaž Primožič, Barbara Tadina, Klavdija Košec, Lana Vincelj and Ajda Kostevc, Staša Klovar Rupnik, and four exceptional slammers from abroad: Elena Prendžova (Macedonia), Milan Mijatović and Siniša Rudan (Serbia) and Simone Savogin (Italy).

Music this evening will be provided by an acoustic trio. Pocket Edition, which began its activities in December 2015, when classical music students began to flirt with jazz. The clarinet, accordion and percussion are sometimes added to the double bass. Jure, Andrej, Ines and Neža explore traditional music from different cultures and interpret it in their own way. Listeners often label them as gipsy jazz, but they themselves prefer to define themselves as an ethno band with influences from jazz and popular music.

Pocket Editions are:
Jure Lešnik – clarinet
Andrej Kos – accordion
Ines Ljubej – percussion
Neža Pavlovič – double bass
