A library is a space through which people carry different experiences and feelings. With socializing, it represents the contact of all the energy that people bring and take away. Time stops in a library. People spend hours there, they are used to being closely observed, and this is exactly what is missing in a world poisoned by instant experiences. Having a concert in an atmosphere among books, where people know how to listen and where as a musician you get a well-deserved response, is something indescribable. 

Jazz among books brings something new to the cultural scene and is a great example of how, with a small investment, a library can offer its visitors something more. It provides libraries with a program addition they haven't had before, and visitors with an innovative multisensory experience of experiencing culture (Tomi Purich).
