Terrible ending
December 16, 2015 at 6:00 PM
A QUICK AND SURPRISING LITERARY CLASSIC WITH LOTS OF LAUGHTER.

Eleven-year-old Eddie Dickens' parents contract a terrible disease that turns them yellow, wrinkles around the edges, and starts to smell like old hot water bottles. For his own good and much to his dismay, Eddie is sent to live with his crazy Uncle Joe and even crazier Aunt Nora, in their home, The Terrible End. But the journey is already scary, and Eddie worries whether this adventure can ever end well.

Philip Ardagh is a world-famous author, and his books about Eddie have been translated into more than 30 languages. But why? For all the madness and crazy adventures that poor Eddie goes through, the author really has a hard time redeeming himself by making us laugh all the time... The book was translated from English by Sandra Baumgartner – Naylor.

Ana Vogrinčič Čepič, assistant professor at the Faculty of Arts, will chat about the book with Katja Klopčič Lavrenčič, editor at the Sodobnost International publishing house.
The event is supported by the European Commission and the Public Book Agency of the Republic of Slovenia.

The chat will be in the department Music-film.
