Lecture: A restless, lively child or a child with attention problems and/or hyperactivity? What does this mean for parents and educators?

Lecturer about herself:

I am a Master of Science, social pedagogue, professor of primary education, and have been studying, researching, and practically dealing with attention and/or hyperactivity problems for 25 years. I am looking for methods of calming down and channels where specific characteristics can be expressed safely and effectively, and I am researching strategies that are helpful to parents, educators, and teachers who encounter children with ADHD. I also promote reading, telling, and listening to fairy tales, because as a storyteller, writer, and mother of four children, I am aware of the richness and support that literary texts bring to the lives of children and adults. Listening, reading, and conversation are the starting points for philosophizing and critical thinking, which is also the subject of my research. I have published articles on the above topics in scientific and professional journals, and I lecture on them at scientific and professional conferences and seminars, as well as to parents, teachers, and educators. Work experience and research allow me to introduce my own experiences and practical examples in my lectures, in addition to theoretical foundations.
