You are invited to the presentation of the picture book Anika on the move by Natalija Sevnik Leber, which will be at 5 pm and the opening of the exhibition In the fairy-tale world of illustrations and other creations by author Mojca Šon, which will be held at 6 p.m. in the Vojnik Library.
Children will have the opportunity to listen to a wonderful fairy tale for the first time, which will stimulate their imagination and take them into the world of Anika's adventures.
On display will be diverse artworks by Mojca Šon, illustrator of Anka's adventures, depicting motifs such as portraits, scenes from nature and fairy-tale animals. The artist has created imaginative landscapes in various techniques, where reality and fantasy intertwine, inviting viewers into a magical world of images and stories. The exhibition will be on display from the end of January 2025.
Mojca Šon is a professor of fine arts at Petrovče Elementary School. She has been creating in various fields of art alongside her job for many years. Her passion is designing ceramics and jewelry, which she has presented at several solo exhibitions.
This time, he presents illustrations, drawings and paintings in watercolor techniques and combinations with colored pencils, pastels and inks. The depicted motifs, such as portraits, scenes from nature and fairy-tale animals, offer an escape into imaginary landscapes and a fairy-tale world, where elements of reality and fantasy come together. In the process, they conjure up a sense of mystery and warmth.
Mag. Natalija Sevnik Leber, prof. eng. and soc., is a long-time foreign language teacher at Petrovče Elementary School. Her favorite things are her family and nature. She finds complete inspiration in music, films, books and art. This is the first time she introduces herself as a writer and admits that she still has a few supplies hidden at home. She is also tempted by poetry. On the one hand, she likes to deal with serious psychosocial topics, and on the other, the world of children and their imagination have always been close to her. She spontaneously created a playful and educational fairy tale suitable for every warm child's heart.
