The hedgehog was used to living in a pile of leaves, in solitude. He liked that life very much. One day, however, an apple fell on his prickly back and stuck there stubbornly. No matter how hard he tried, he could not shake it off. Without help, he would have felt bad... Fortunately, his path took him to the enclosure of a donkey who loved apples. The hedgehog freed him from his burden and taught him about all the varieties of apples he knew. The next time the hedgehog encountered an apple, he remembered the donkey and voluntarily threw himself on the fruit so that he could take it to his new friend.
